Joost van de Brake wins Early Career Research Award 2021
Assistant professor Joost van de Brake has won the Early Career Research Award 2021. Yearly, the Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business awards the 2,000-euro prize to a researcher 2-7 years after their graduation, based on their research output, top publications and received grants and awards.
The jury unanimously selected Van den Brake for his excellent track record in research in the field of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. The assistant professor within the department of HRM & OB obtained his PhD degree in 2019 and has already published in top journals like the Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology. In addition, he recently received a Veni grant from the Dutch Research Council (NWO) for a project on Multiple Team Membership (MTM).
