Research about sustainable distribution of LNG explained to Royal couple
His Majesty King Willem-Alexander, Her Majesty Queen Máxima and Minister Ploumen visited the conference "LNG - full speed ahead" in Hamburg, last Friday. There, Prof. Iris Vis and Dr. Paul Buijs of the Faculty of Economics and Business informed the Queen about their research into the design of distribution networks for the new, environmentally friendly fuel LNG (liquefied natural gas). Logistical challenges play a major role in the transport sector's transition to the use of LNG.
The visit of the delegation to the LNG conference was part of the working visit of the Royal couple and Minister Ploumen to the German states of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg.
