Research

The department of Accounting and Auditing is committed to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in a broad variety of areas. In doing so, we mainly seek to connect with the core themes in which we offer education: audit and assurance, corporate governance, financial accounting, integrated and sustainability reporting, internal control and risk management, and management accounting and control.

The research is integrated in the Accounting Research programme of the FEB Research Institute. The members of the programme apply a variety of research methods, ranging from archival studies, to survey studies, experimental research, and case studies.
