Apply with a Dutch diploma
The admission and registration process contains the following steps:
Application deadlines
There are two moments when you can start the regular master's programme of your choice: September and February. The only exemption is the Research Master, that only starts in September.
The application deadlines for the master's programmes depend on where the student will obtain or has obtained their diploma.
Students from the University of Groningen
If you will obtain or have obtained your Bachelor's degree at the University of Groningen, the following deadlines apply to you.
February start

1 January
If you wish to start the master's programme in February, you need to apply before 1 January.
September start

1 August
If you wish to start the master's programme in September, you need to apply before 1 August.
Students from other Dutch Universities
If you will obtain or have obtained your diploma at one of the other Dutch institutions, the following deadlines apply to you.
February start

15 October
If you wish to start the master's programme in February, you need to apply before 15 October of the previous year.
September start

1 May
If you wish to start the master's programme in September, you need to apply before 1 May.
