Chinese students from Chinese universities; Chinese students in non-Chinese universities in their last year master study, or first year PhD study in the application period; employees in a Chinese company, organization, governmental agency or research institute. Grant information: |
Purposes: : Based on the agreement between UG and CSC, the CSC/UG scholarship program is for selected outstanding Chinese students to take their full PHD (3-4 years) studies at UG. Programs: The CSC scholarships cover the PhD students’ the living stipend (incl. medical insurance), and a return international airfare between China and the Netherlands. UG waives the bench fee and provides the supplemental scholarship to each scholarship recipient that increases CSC monthly scholarship to about at least 1850 EUR net. The funding for each awardee will be up to 48 months. Under this program, up to 75 scholarships will be supported in 2024. |

UG application deadline: each UG Graduate School has its own deadlines for issuing admission letters. The applicants are strongly suggested to contact the relevant Graduate Schools early and directly to ensure that they can meet the deadlines of the Graduate Schools, which vary from 6 to 2 weeks in advance of the deadline of CSC online application.
