PhD Introductory Event

Welcome to Groningen! The Office of the Dean of Graduate Schools organizes an introductory event for new PhD students from all across the UG to get them acquainted with each other, the university and its surroundings.

The first day of this two-day event takes place just outside the city of Groningen. In the programme you will receive, there are instructions on how to get to the location of day 1. Day 1 will start at 09:00 and end around 20:00. The second day takes place in Groningen. In the morning we will continue the programme and the event will end with a lunch during which a few PhD organisations will introduce themselves to you. Participation is free. All new PhD students should preferably take part within the first six months of their project.
