Developing your Leadership
What makes you a powerful leader? How can you develop your own style of leadership? How can you overcome some of the obstacles you face? For example gender, cultural background, different worldviews, etc? In this interactive series of workshops we will investigate what makes you powerful as a leader. What can you do to become more empowered and bring balance to the current ‘imbalance’ in leadership? And also we'll support you in finding out what your personal leadership style is.
We start the course with a workshop and discussion regarding all sorts of diversity and how this is connected to a leadership role, which might shape how you view your own leadership ambitions. The two subsequent sessions allow you to put what you have learnt into practice, focussing hands-on exercises in role-playing and communication skills.

By the end of the course you will:

  • Have had discussion and conversation about leadership, what leadership means in a broader sence and gained insight in what leadership means to you (first session)
  • Have gained practical skills to help your realise your own leadership potential, either inside or outside academia as well as in your personal life (second and third session).
