Winner Petrus Camper Festival - Atelier
On the 24th of June the Honours College organized the 8th edition of the Petrus Camper Festival. Previous years, the Petrus Camper Festival took place in the Academy Building and all students organized a festive activity in one of the rooms. Unfortunately, this year we are dealing with a different reality. Students could no longer go to Lectures, faculties shifted their education online and events were cancelled. The effects of these measures are enormous and we are truly impressed by the way the students adapted to the new situation. Students came up with new ideas to present their findings in an online environment and managed to keep in touch with each other via online platforms. This effort made it possible to continue with the 8th edition of the Petrus Camper Festival and this is definitely something to be proud of!
Via a livestream students presented their work and after the livestream the project groups showcased their projects via their Atelier on the special Petrus Camper Festival website. At the end of the online festival the visitors were asked to vote for their favourite project.
After counting the votes, we would like to announce the Atelier that stood out the most according to your votes. The winning Atelier is: Diversity Encounter and Inclusion, Congratulations! The webpages of this Atelier looked impressive, contained detailed information and wrote about personal stories. All in all, this made Diversity Encounter and Inclusion the Atelier that stood out the most according to the website visitors.
The students of this Atelier received, by way of prize, not the traditional sunflower. But each a square meter of rainforest in Costa Rica via adopteerregenwoud.nl. This organization helps to protect the rainforest.
Once again we thank you for the collaboration and we wish you a great summer and good health!
