ENLIGHT 2025 Calls are Open!

Are you a researcher, lecturer, staff member or student? Are you interested in setting up collaborative initiatives with partners from different (ENLIGHT) universities? The ENLIGHT Calls may be just for you!
ENLIGHT offers three types of calls to provide different opportunities to initiate different education, R&I, and joint course initiatives with an objective to work in and tackle the diverse challenges within the six focus areas of ENLIGHT. The three ENLIGHT 2025 calls are:
1. ENLIGHT Incubator Grants
The objective of this call is to encourage the design and upscaling of educational initiatives across the three study cycles that focus on societal transition, sustainable future, and human well-being. With two strands of either joint study programmes, or joint innovative education initiatives, the focus of this call will be on future-proofing skills and global competences, and connecting learners with societal stakeholders around ENLIGHT's six focus areas.
-
Deadline: Monday 30 June 2025
2. ENLIGHT Thematic Networks
This call aims to create connections and engagement between the ENLIGHT partner universities. These international and inter-institutional networks will work at offering opportunities for new joint interdisciplinary and challenge-driven research, teaching or services to society initiatives around the six focus areas.
-
Deadline: Monday 30 June 2025
3. ENLIGHT+
The aim of this call is to cultivate a vibrant academic community within ENLIGHT universities by providing financial support to teaching staff, (non-)academic staff, PhD students and undergraduates. The focus is on supporting collaborative small-scale projects, events or workshops, while also encouraging small-scale initiatives that actively contribute to ENLIGHT’s main goals.
