2nd Dutch Health Econometrics Workshop
On 26 and 27 September 2024, the Centre for Public Health in Economics and Business (CPHEB) and the UG's Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) hosted the second edition of the Dutch Health Econometrics Workshop.
The workshop was organized by Stefan Pichler (FEB, CPHEB), Raun van Ooijen (UMCG), Martin Salm (Tilburg University) and Bram Wouterse (Erasmus University Rotterdam). During the workshop, researchers from the participating universities presented papers on topics such as the health and labor market consequences of low-value care, the role the workplace can play with regards to health (expenditure) disaparities, the effects of diabetes on employment, health insurance choices, the effect of extending employer responsibility for sick-listed workers, the treatment of refugees and the resulting health effects and the effects of delayed mental health treatment on employment.
