Financial management: boost your knowledge
As a manager or staff member, you will at some point have dealings with the financial policy of the UG. But do you understand the financial consequences of decisions? Do you know how to read annual accounts? Do you know the difference between liquidity and solvency? Are you aware of what a controller, accountant, or financial director does? You have an influence on the financial flows within your faculty or service unit, but how should you work with financial experts? These are things that you will learn during this three-day training course.
The aim of this training course is to boost your knowledge of financial management so that you can play an equal part when thinking, talking, and deciding about financial matters with colleagues who have a background in finance. You will acquire insight into the influence you can exercise, and we will swap experiences and practical tips.
