Reviewer course

The reviewer course is intended for employees who (occasionally) have to make changes to existing pages. The course is offered online and participants can follow it at a time appropriate to them and at their own pace.

Important: registration for the course is in consultation with the web coordinator of the faculty or department. After approval, you can handle the registration yourself.

Goal

In this online course you will learn how to use the Apollo editor to make changes to existing pages.

After completing the course you will be signed up for the newsletter web editors and your web coordinator will be notified.

Content

Working with the Apollo editor:

Open Apollo Basic
Use the editor (simple formatting)
Clear formatting
Create lists
Insert horizontal line
Use styles
Upload files
Add hyperlink
Remove hyperlink
Insert table

Prerequisites

The course assumes that you are familiar with an Internet browser (Edge, Firefox, Chrome). HTML knowledge or experience creating websites is not required for this course.

The prerequisite for attending this course is that you have completed the ‘Writing for the web’ course.

Important: Registration for the course is always done in consultation with the web coordinator of your faculty or service department. After approval from the web coordinator, you can complete the application using the link below.

Good to know: You may skip the 'Reviewer' course, if you also want to follow the Basic Editor course.

At the starting date of the course you will receive an e-mail with an explanation and a link to the practice area.
The course can be taken in Dutch or English.

Duration

Going through the Reviewer material takes about an hour.

Please note: you have 1 month to complete the course and hand in the final assignment.
