At Campus Fryslân, multiple disciplines are represented allowing international students, PhD students and world-class researchers to approach scientific issues from different perspectives. As a faculty, we are committed to finding local solutions to real global challenges.

We currently offer several interdisciplinary programmes:

• Two bachelor programmes: BSc Global Responsibility & Leadership (#1 Bachelor’s degree in the Netherlands 2023!) and BSc Data Science & Society

• Four master programmes: MSc Sustainable Entrepreneurship, MSc Cultural Geography: Sustainable Tourism & Society, MSc Cultural Geography: Climate Adaptation Governance and MSc Voice Technology

• A minor in Global Studies and Colonial Critiques: An Alternative to Development
  

In all of our education, we focus on interdisciplinary and interactive teaching, where we focus on critical and independent thinking, problem-solving, teamwork and open-minded interaction between students and lecturers.

We have cutting-edge research departments that work on various subjects from an interdisciplinary-, transdisciplinary- and sustainability-focussed perspective with staff members from all over the world.

Given the interdisciplinary offer at CF, incoming exchange students can choose from a wide range of courses; from visualising data to explaining human behaviour to decolonising research methods amongst others.

Currently, we only host incoming exchanges at the bachelor’s level from partner universities that have an agreement with us.
