To celebrate the Opening of the Academic Year we have invited Rob Jetten (D66) to give this year's Gemma Frisius keynote lecture. It is about pressure on the youth. He will talk about broad social developments, such as performance pressure, concerns about climate, environment and housing. But there are also positive elements to share such as support from our faculty, companies and politics.
Rob Jetten, the outgoing Minister of Climate and Energy, was behind a new scholarship for students, higher salaries for teachers and investments in science and innovation.
Besides the keynote we will hear from our student assessor, and from the Faculty Council, accompanied by musical interludes by our very own students.
