Career Services University College Groningen
The University College Groningen offers a Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences, which provides students an academic degree with a genuinely interdisciplinary outlook, freedom of choice and a collaborative and guided approach to learning in a stimulating and globally challenging environment. The Liberal Arts and Sciences programme offers students the opportunity to study a broad range of subjects whilst developing specialist knowledge in their major discipline (Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences). Throughout the degree, students work in interdisciplinary teams on a series of projects that also take them outside of the classroom which enable them to learn how to apply a creative approach in finding solutions for complex global challenges.
University College Groningen Career Services
Within our faculty, the Career Team offers career orientation and resources on career planning, internship and job search. We also provide support and guidance in planning the students’ further study plans.
Career Activities
Every year, we organize a Master Market to support students in navigating their master choice and application options. We also host a Career Event to support students in finding the next step in their career. During this event, they are able to talk to alumni and recruiters to get a feel for career options as a Liberal Arts and Sciences student.
Internship
During their degree, students have the opportunity to do a curricular internship as part of the Bachelor programme. The Career Team at UCG coordinates the course and supports students through their enrollment.
