No other city is as popular for our alumni from all around the world. Almost 1,000 Groningers live and work in London. The University of Groningen would like to stay connected with her alumni, so on behalf of our active committee, Marjolein Regelink and Jonathan Tavela, we would like to welcome you to the alumni community in London.

What to expect?

Meet fellow alumni in London. Alumni who you may remember from your time in Groningen and alumni who graduated long before or long after you. Over and all a great network to be in touch with to talk about your study time, get career advice, extend your professional network, and stay connected with your alma mater.

Since 2017 we regularly organise alumni meetings together with our alumni committee. They organised a meeting with 100 alumni at the residence of the Dutch ambassador, had an inspiring keynote by former Unilever CEO, Paul Polman, met for drinks at the Proeflokaal Rembrandt, and did a historical Dutch walking tour in London. Also during the Covid-19 pandemic we would like to stay in touch with our alumni, so stay tuned for our online meetings.
