Brussels

About 450 alumni live in Brussels, a special network of former Groningers. It is a dynamic group of both young and more experienced people. Many of them work at European institutions.

The alumni group has been active since 2016 and has organized various events, from cozy get-togethers to interesting presentations. For example, in October 2017 Prof. dr. Luuk van Middelaar drew a full room for his book presentation in the building of the Benelux Union. The year before the mayor of Groningen Peter den Oudsten invited alumni to an event at the Résidence Palace.

Alumni Commission

With the initiative of two alumni this circle took form. Together with the Alumni Relations & Fundraising department the Alumni Commission organizes events two to three times per year. This commission consists of:

3. Jori de Goffau - Treasurer (International and European Law, 2014)
