More than 800 alumni live and/or work in Indonesia. This is partly due to more than 40 years of cooperation between the UG and the Gadjah Mada University (UGM). Since 2014, there are events organized for alumni in Jakarta, but also in Bandung and Yogyakarta. The turnout rate is always high. One of the appreciated and often welcomed guests is the Chairman of the Executive Board Sibrand Poppema, who gives the circle a warm sense of unity. An example of a successful meeting was an alumni dinner in Jakarta, where also prof.dr. Olaf Scholten and prof.dr. Herbert Löhner came with twenty students from the Faculty of Science and Engineering because of the Double Doctorate Programme with the ITB.

Alumni Commission

Together with the Alumni Relations and Fundraising department, a committee of alumni organizes approximately two meetings per year. This committee consists of:
