About stuying in Groningen

Studying at the University of Groningen was a wonderful experience. I loved the historical Academy Building and the peaceful and beautiful city of Groningen. Biking in fresh-clean air is what I miss the most since returning home. I really admired the Dutch for speaking many languages, and nearly everyone speaks English very well.

Thanks to the master program in at Groningen, I know how to conduct a scientific research independently and effectively. Scientific research is interesting and the University of Groningen instilled in me the desire of becoming a scientist. Moreover, the university’s lecturers and officers are friendly and supportive. Students can easily approach lecturers or professors if they have any difficulties in studying. This is one of the highlights that I would like to share with other prospective international students.

Finally, I would like to congratulate our university on its 400 years ceremony. I am proud to be an alumnus of the RUG.

Biography

Hoang Thuc Nhi studied her Bachelors in Pedagogy in Vietnam and an International Master in Educational Sciences at the University of Groningen. She worked from 2006 to 2009 for the Nuffic Neso Vietnam as its student counsellor. Since September 2009 she has been working for a local company as its business development manager. Now she is a director of Edu-Exchange company.
