About studying in Groningen
“I very much wanted to develop a demography career. A search for remarkable institutions offering the discipline brought me to the University of Groningen. The research portfolio of RUG impressed me very much. RUG being a research university was a plus for me to develop my research skills in health population and policy analysis. The programme has enriched my knowledge in demographic analysis, social-research, regional-based social and policy interventions. The programme also has endowed me with the necessary social research management skills to develop policy alternatives and opportunities for sustaining a health population.
The study environment is splendid in Groningen. In other words: studying is well facilitated. As a student, you never miss any study material and the professors are very committed and interact freely with students.
Biking is wow in Groningen; it’s fun and healthy for everyone.”
