About studying in Groningen
“ I chose the University of Groningen because of its reputation in Law studies and it was also recommended by my friends who studied before at the RUG. In the International Economic and Business Law programme I liked the syllabus content and the friendly international atmosphere of the class. Through the course I've gained first of all deeper knowledge on specific areas of law. The courses helped me to gain better analytical, writing and arguing skills.
There were significant differences between my education system in my country and the education system of the RUG. First of all, there are better university facilities at the RUG. The examination and grading system is also different and the RUG has a more practical approach.
I like Groningen because of its student’s atmosphere, biking and the nightlife. Although I've biked before coming to Groningen, biking was one of the best experiences here. And the fact that almost everyone bikes in Groningen, it's just great.”
