HR Information Desk

Please contact the HR Information Desk for any questions you may have regarding HR matters. New staff members will receive an invitation for a personal onboarding interview around the starting date of their appointment in which they will be informed you about the steps that must be taken to settle in the Netherlands.

The Compulsory Identification Act requires from all employers in the Netherlands that new employees present their identification to the University of Groningen in person. Please report to the HR Information Desk where the validity of your identification will be checked and a copy will be made for you personnel file. NB: This applies to Dutch staff members also.

You can visit us and reach us by phone on +31 50 363 9191 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 12 and from 13 to 16. On Wednesdays and Fridays, we are only open from 9 to 12. You can also continue to mail us at: HRID rug.nl. The HR Information Desk is located on the second floor of the west wing of the Academy Building, Broerstraat 5, 9712 CP Groningen.

The aim of the HR Information Desk is to inform, especially international, staff members about getting settled in the Netherlands and working for the University and to offer practical assistance related to HR matters.
