Efficient plastic solar cells
‘Plastic’ solar cells made from carbon-based materials are very promising. However, their output still lags far behind the efficiency of solar cells with silicon as their active ingredient. Jan Anton Koster wants to improve the output of plastic solar cells. He has been awarded a prestigious Vidi grant to conduct research on the subject for five years.
