Nine universities launched the ENLIGHT consortium (Tartu, 29 October 2019)
Nine universities – rectors, staff and student representatives from all over Europe have formally launched the 'ENLIGHT' consortium on 29 Oct. 2019. ENLIGHT will promote quality of life, sustainability & global engagement through higher education transformation.
The rectors of the universities of Ghent (BE), Göttingen (DE), Tartu (EE), Basque Country (ES), Bordeaux (FR), Galway (IE), Groningen (NL), Uppsala (SE) and Comenius Bratislava (SK) have signed a Letter of Intent, in which the nine partner universities express their commitment to prepare a joint application in the framework of the second European Universities call. Prof. Elmer Sterken attended the meeting on behalf of the University of Groningen with a delegation.
