RUGconnect

RUGconnect is the online platform for everyone connected to the University of Groningen. Students, alumni, study associations, alumni associations, career and alumni officers, companies, and university staff can all join. It is one central place to connect, share information, and inspire one another.

Students

Are you a student at the University of Groningen? On RUGconnect, you will find internships, part-time jobs, student assistant positions, and PhD opportunities. You can also register for events such as career fairs and networking drinks organised by study associations or get in touch with alumni.

Companies and organisations

As a company or organisation, RUGconnect offers the opportunity to create your own profile and present yourself to the university community. Do you have an internship or job opening? Share it through our job board and connect with interested candidates.

Study associations

As a study association, you help students make the most of their time at university—through study trips, company visits, lectures, workshops, and social events. RUGconnect allows you to manage, share, and promote all your activities on one platform.

Career and alumni officers

As a career or alumni officer, you can use RUGconnect to connect alumni and students in a targeted way. The platform allows you to share vacancies, events, and networking opportunities. You can also invite alumni to share their knowledge and experience with students—through mentoring, guest lectures, or networking events.

Alumni associations

As an alumni association, RUGconnect helps increase your visibility, engage members, and share activities within a private group. You can promote reunions, lectures, and networking events—strengthening connections between alumni and the university.
