Online ENLIGHT Matchmaking Events

07 May 2024

Monday 29 April, 9.00 - 16.00 CET
On Monday, April 29, we will focus on matchmaking tools available to ENLIGHT researchers and pitching sessions for setting up research collaborations. If you are looking for partners to participate in the ENLIGHT call that will be published in April or to submit a joint funding proposal, come pitch your idea to your fellow ENLIGHT researchers.

Pitches should be up to 5 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of questions from the audience. To register for the Monday programme and for more information about the event and the programme please follow the link to the ENLIGHT Matchmaking platform. There you will be able to follow the pitches during the event, set up one-on-one meetings with other participants, look for funding opportunities and post advertisements for finding collaborators.

If you are interested in pitching at the event, please contact Wiebe Zijlstra wiebe.zijlstra rug.nl or Gema Ocana g.ocana.noriega rug.nl by April 15th and inform them of your interest by indicating which session you would like to pitch at and provide pitch slides by April 22nd . Please find template slides for your pitch here

Tuesday 30 April, 10.00 - 14.30 CET
All Early Career Researchers are invited to join in on April 29, but on Tuesday, April 30, we will have an event directed specifically at Early Career Researchers (ECRs). It will focus on leadership and networking. The workshop carried out by Juko-Mart Kõlar from the University of Tartu will have both theoretical and practical components. It will present a practical case study on navigating the complexities of building and managing a diverse team in a fiercely competitive landscape. He will outline strategies and techniques for fostering an environment where every team member comprehends their role in achieving objectives and where efficient coordination mechanisms are ingrained in the daily culture.

Please register for the ECR event separately, here. In case of any questions related to the ECRs event, please contact silvester.krcmery uniba.sk.

We look forward to e-meeting you in April!
