Research ethics
The University of Groningen strongly believes in professional academic practices and ethically sound teaching and research. It is committed to academic integrity and is convinced that misbehaviour in academia must be avoided at all times. In addition, the University aims to make ethical choices in research, which includes a responsible animal experiment policy.
Institutional quality assurance
Our educational quality assurance is aimed at the perseverance, supervision and improvement of the quality of our programs. In order to maintain the high level of educational quality the UG takes action itself (internal quality assurance) or is inspected by persons or institutions outside of the university (external quality assurance).
Education policy
The University of Groningen educational vision aims to enable students and lecturers to get the best out of themselves and each other. To this end, clear and ambitious demands will be made of both groups within a transparent organization, in which all priorities discussed will be combined. A quality assurance system must be used to ensure and facilitate sound implementation of these priorities.
