When and how do I become a member?
As a student you can get elected during the yearly university wide elections. As a staff member you can get elected every other year. In 2025 there will be elections for both students and staff, in 2026 only for students members. You can join one of the current parties or start your own.
For more information about the process you can contact the Central Electoral Committee (csb rug.nl); if you want to join a party, you can contact them directly through their contact information.
