Project GRACE: An ENLIGHT ETC Grant Winner

10 February 2025

We are happy to announce that the project GRACE, with Julia Martínez-Ariño as the main coordinator, is one of the projects selected for the ENLIGHT 2024 Call. Congratulations to the GRACE team!

What is the GRACE Project?

This project aims to create the academic cooperation of the interdisciplinary study of religion through research and educational activities. The GRACE project will encompass blended winter schools for early career researchers, an alumni network, a webinar series and a yearly reading group. With an expected impact for students, early career and consolidated researchers, practitioners, activists, community leaders, and policymakers, this project will build relevant academic links and aims to make a significant impact in the field of religion and beyond!

“Our ENLIGHT project brings together three ENLIGHT and two non-ENLIGHT partners to generate a network of teams working on the interdisciplinary study of religion in relation to conflict, globalization, climate change, migration and gender.”

Future Vision

Future plans include enlarging the network to include other research centers dedicated to the social scientific study of religion and to make the UG a leading research network in the interdisciplinary study of religion.

Congratulations to the GRACE team and especially to the participants in our UG team!

We are excited for the GRACE project and its future accomplishments!
