Nine Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Networks for the University of Groningen

22 April 2024

The University of Groningen has achieved very good results in the last round of Marie Sklodowska Curie Doctoral Networks. Nine projects have been funded out of 42 submissions: 1 as coordinator, 8 as beneficiaries. Moreover, one other project in the role of coordinator has been placed on the reserve list. That makes our success rate 21% against 12% EU wide (these numbers do not include UMCG proposals).

MSCA Doctoral Networks implement doctoral programmes, by partnerships of universities, research institutions and infrastructures, businesses including SMEs, and other socio-economic actors from different countries across Europe and beyond. These doctoral programmes have to respond to well-identified needs in various research and innovation areas, expose the researchers to the academic and non-academic sectors, and offer research training, as well as transferable skills and competences relevant for innovation and long-term employability.

The next call for MSCA Doctoral Networks will open on 29 May 2024.
