Video | Hybrid research on biodegradable and recyclable plastics
In this video, UG professor Katja Loos, together with Rudy Folkersma and Vincent Voet, talks about the hybrid research group "Biopolymers and Recycling Innovation" (HyBRit). HyBRit is a collaboration between the University of Groningen and NHL Stenden, supported by the University of the North. Together they are working on new plastics made from renewable resources. The team also focuses on end-of-life scenarios that avoid plastics ending up in nature.
In the UG podcast In Science, episode 42, Loos talks more about her research and the collaboration in HyBRit.
