Asia-Europe Rectors’ Conference: registration for Students Forum open now
Registration is now open for the Students Forum of the third ASEM Rectors’ Conference, held in Groningen on 25 & 26 September. ASEM is short for Asia Europe Meeting and is organised by the Asia Europe Foundation (ASEF). It is an informal platform for dialogue and interaction between Asian and European countries, on all levels. The Asean University Network and the University of Groningen are coorganising the event in September.
Students are invited to join the stakeholders process, at a meeting that takes place just before the Rectors’ Conference. As part of the efforts to integrate student participation within the ASEM education process, the conference partners are launching the first Asia-Europe Students Forum themed Are you Fit for the Future? Student leaders (undergraduate or postgraduate) from 46 ASEM countries will have the opportunity to contribute to the ASEM education process through their participation in the 1-day Students’ Forum.
