On 4 November, 1953, Frits Zernike was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics.
Now, 70 years later, the Faculty of Science and Engineering – bearing the name of ‘the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences’ until 2017 - is organizing a symposium to celebrate this 70th anniversary and recollect memories about Frits Zernike.
