The Sport Science Institute Groningen organises the 3rd Science and Engineering Conference on Sports Innovation. Main theme of the day is how technology can be used to optimize performance in sport, rehabilitation and healthy ageing. Keynote speakers are Professor Bert Otten and Adriaan Helmantel (trainer/coach at team Sunweb) on 'The Science of Cycling' and Professor Steven Vos about black swans and white ravens – Sports in an era of low-cost technology.
