Inclusion & Diversity

CoP Inclusion and diversity

Having effective communication skills to address diverse partners will increase success in both teaching and learning. Our community of Practice on inclusion and diversity focuses on increasing awareness and acquiring the skills necessary to communicate in this diverse society. Our students have different background and various needs; therefore careful design and management of educational processes is essential to ensure that all students feel included.

Our goal is to build a community of teachers, connecting them and sharing ideas and strategies on how to make our classrooms and lessons more diverse, inclusive and equitable.

EQUIPPING ourselves and each other: Inclusive teaching and learning in diverse classrooms

Teaching and learning in multicultural and international classrooms can be challenging, and sometimes we are not always aware of the range of diversity present in our classrooms. The EQUiiP programme aims to make these challenges concrete and turn them into opportunities by integrating an inclusive and international dimension into teaching practices. Participating in this programme will enable you to use the diversity in backgrounds of our students more effectively as a potential resource for teaching and learning. Read more here.
