Come to the RUG College Tour on March the 7th and learn more about the fascinating life and career of Petra Stienen!

The organisation of the Aletta Jacobs College Tour is proud to present the new event this year with the Aletta Jacobs award winner of 2016; Petra Stienen. The event will be hosted on the 7th of March from 11.00 until 13.00 , entrance is free!

What is the RUG College Tour?

It’s a chance to ask your questions to the winner of the RUG Aletta Jacobs Prize 2016: Petra Stienen.

Petra Stienen is one of the thought leaders in the Netherlands on European relations with the Arab world. She is an author of numerous books on the Arab world, and senator for D66 in the First Chamber of the Dutch Parliament . She also worked as a human rights diplomat at the Netherlands Embassies in Egypt and Syria from 1995-2004.

The interview of the College Tour will be full of surprises, and the floor will be given to students who can ask her questions directly. We will post a link for you to send questions, and if yours is picked as one of the best, you will be invited to ask it during the event and you will win a Meet & Greet with Petra Stienen. Furthermore, the most interesting question of all will be awarded a dinner for two at Brasserie MIDI!
